tunisian crochet tutorial no. 2: increases!
in order to work my #tunisiantrianglescarf (or anything not rectangular), you'll need to know how to do increases! fortunately, they're super easy. the full video is on my youtube channel (complete with captions)--check it out in my bio link, or search "libertine designs" on YouTube. if you're new to tunisian crochet, check out the basic tutorial in my last post! 📹
to work an increase, in your forward pass you'll insert the hook from front to back in the space before your first stitch (or wherever you're placing your increase) and pull up a loop. work the rest of your row normally, inserting the hook horizontally in the working direction through the vertical bar of each stitch. work the return pass normally, incorporating the new loop, and you've made an increase!
how are you liking the tunisian tutorials? is there a stitch in particular you'd like to see? let me know in the comments! 💕😘
